How to Prepare the Drinks:
French 75
from Epicurious
Ingredients
0.5 oz Simple syrup (or Cointreau)
1.5 oz Gin
1 lemon
1.5 oz Fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 oz Champagne
1 cup Ice
Chilled Champagne flute
Preparation:
For garnish: using a paring knife slice the lemon peel in a long spiral. Curl the lemon peel around your finger for a twist 6 inches long.
Take a cocktail shaker, combine gin, lemon juice and the simple syrup. Add ice and for 20 seconds shake vigorously. Then strain into a chilled champagne flute. Float champagne. Garnish the drink and serve immediately.

1 dash bitters

Take a cocktail shaker, combine all the ingredients. Add ice. Stir and strain into a chilled champagne coupe. Garnish the drink with a white rose petal and serve immediately.
Hello Cupcake's Butter Popcorn Cupcakes:
This is a very cute idea how to make movie themed popcorn cupcakes which is shown on Stephanie Lynn's website. I however think that marshmallow are not as tasty and it takes a lot of time. In order to make it more luxe and take less time I would instead using alternating colors of sugar pearls. To make it look like popcorn use a combination of white, light yellow and bright yellow sugar pearls. Print a small label that says "Popcorn" and stick it to the red and white cupcake cup. If you are short on time you can put store bought cupcakes, put them in a red/white striped cup and decorate with the sugar pearls.
